Dr. Ea began his academic journey at the University of California, Davis, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior. During his studies, he developed a keen interest in neurobiology and physiology, leading him to pursue a master’s degree in Physiology. While completing his master's, Dr. Ea worked in clinical research in Oncology at the University of California, San Francisco, contributing to several significant publications.

Following his passion for foot and ankle care, Dr. Ea attended medical school at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.

Dr. Ea completed a comprehensive 3-year foot and ankle surgical residency at Franciscan St. Margaret in the Northwest Indiana and Chicago region. During his residency, he served as chief resident, overseeing junior residents and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. His dedication to his craft is evident in his commitment to pursuing conservative care whenever possible and embracing holistic and alternative treatments. Should surgical intervention be necessary, Dr. Ea works closely with his patients to develop customized treatment plans tailored to their individual needs.

To stay at the forefront of his field, Dr. Ea regularly attends symposiums and conferences to stay updated on the latest surgical techniques and therapies. His dedication to continuous learning ensures that his patients receive the most advanced and effective treatments available.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Ea enjoys a rich personal life. He has been an avid swing dancer for over 10 years and finds joy in cooking and supporting Bay Area sports teams.
